Production separators are designed to remove and collect liquids from the natural gas stream. Two and three phase separators are designed to remove oil and water liquids while a four-phase unit is designed to also remove solids from the production stream. Production separators are available in a horizontal design or a vertical design where space is a concern in the production facility.
